I noticed that on a more mainstream dating website that I was previously on that the vast majority of people talk about what activities they'd like to do together; "companionship" is what they're looking for.
I'd like that, too, of course; great food, moving music, inspiring art, the bliss of nature... all these things are better shared, and important to share in a long-term relationship.
But what I really long for is a "partnership" in growth. A travel companion is fun and rewarding, but a partner in life's journey, someone committed to their own growth and wanting to support their partner in theirs; that sounds like a little bit of heaven to me. I believe in, and seek a deeply intimate relationship where being vulnerable is easy because we both highly value personal evolution; partners in building a progressively exquisite life together is the way I like to put it.
